The best thing they did after the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997 was to wrap up the country with broadband internet networks. Young people who were left unemployed after the crisis also gave themselves to computer games. This topic got so serious that they even founded an electronic sports organization affiliated to "Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism" in 2000. At that time, the number of tournaments were made 10 per year were increased to 260 in 10 years.
